Hi from L.A! loving the pics of all the fun days im missing out on back home, we are geting some great ideas to bring back from the conference. there are so many beautiful toys and pieces of equipment here very sad that we cannot bring it all back. looking forward to seeing all of you when we get back :)

A weekend conference
A message for us all
This is a centre we visited.
At night we became westies for an Outrageuos Fortune party.
This is a whanau tree. We all had a hand in building it up using natural materials
Last weekend Mele, Pauline and Lorraine from Over 2 centre went to Wellington to an early childhood conference run by Childspace Institute. The theme was It's all about Whanau and we were treated to some awesome keynote speakers from NZ and USA. All through the conference the most important messgae was that families are what counts and no matter what happens we love our whanau and by caring for our children either in childcare situations or in our homes we are moulding their futures.
We have come back enthused and inspired and hope you will see some evidence of this in the weeks ahead.
