Kia ora Westglade whānau,
We hope you are all staying well and safe as we go into our third week of level 4 lock down. This weekend is very special for our fathers and I have found some cool crafty ideas that you can make to surprise them.

Tips on how to cook or dry the salt dough
How do you cook salt dough? How long do you put salt dough in the oven?
Baking it. As with all recipes that require baking in the oven, your oven is a factor and could need a temperature and bake time that’s a bit different and might only work for you. I suggest checking in how things are going when you are making your fist batch.
What I do recommend is baking at about 200 degrees F / 100 degrees Celsius. Bake for an hour and check. Turn the ornaments, bake for another hour. If the dough isn’t dry yet, bake for another hour and check.

Card ideas for Father's Day
Here are also some awesome ideas that you and your child can use for father's day cards.
I hope these craft ideas become helpful or might spark a few ideas that are more suitable for you and your whānau. We miss you all and look forward to seeing pictures of what you decide to make for Father's day. Stay safe and blessed whānau.

Kia ora Westglade whānau, we hope that you are all doing well during this lock down period. We all miss you and looking forward to seeing you all again. Here are a few ideas that you can do at home with your tamariki based on their interests. Most of our Westglade tamariki have had a lot of interests around art and exploration. Before we went into lock down, we have been having a lot of bubble action, so thought that this art idea will come in handy.
