Tuesday 24th August, 2021 - Fun Art Ideas!

Kia ora Westglade whānau, we hope that you are all doing well during this lock down period.  We all miss you and looking forward to seeing you all again. Here are a few ideas that you can do at home with your tamariki based on their interests. Most of our Westglade tamariki have had a lot of interests around art and exploration. Before we went into lock down, we have been having a lot of bubble action, so thought that this art idea will come in handy.

Or if you need some paint on hand for art creation or exploration.  Below is an easy way to make it just by using what you have in your kitchen. All you need is flour, salt, water and food colouring. I found this link helpful.

And if you don't have any paint brushes, do not sweat. You can basically use what you have at home.

Q-tips, cotton balls or sponges

Car toys - roller painting

Leaves

Soda cans or bottles - stamp painting

Or simple finger painting.

Keep safe Westglade whānau. Kia kaha and don't forget to be kind!
